I’m Henry Nichols, and I’m a writer from Wisconsin who basically lives for the challenge.

I’ve never been one to just sit around. If I’m not on the move, I’m probably planning the next move. Whether I’m on the track, pushing through a cross country course, or out on the baseball diamond, I love the competitive side of things. I even get out on the ice for curling—basically, if there’s a way to compete or learn a new skill, I’m in.

That same drive is why I’m a writer and a Scout. I love being outdoors, camping, and testing myself against whatever the trail throws at me. For me, writing is just another way to see how far I can go. I don’t go for the easy stories; I like the grind of taking a tough idea and making it work, the same way I’d push through the final lap of a race. I’m always looking for the next ridge to climb or the next project to tackle.
